News Reports And Humanism

The study of news reports and humanism is the concern for the people in news reports, news reports about people's concern is not a new subject, there are many studies about news reports and people previously, that is to say, the humanistic care in news reports, many results have been achieved. However, we can see that the humanistic care is much too generalization by combing through the literature. In this paper, the writer studies news reports under the theory of humanistic psychology, which is in common with humanistic care, but the study of news reports under the theory of humanistic psychology will be more systematic.In this paper, the writer explores historic origin and the current situation of the news reports and humanism by using literature, content analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative methods, the writer selects three representative catastrophic events samples from the catastrophic coverage in "China Youth Daily" in 2003 to 2008 , and analyzes the embodiment of humanism in the disastrous news report. On this basis, the writer analyzes the change ,the causes and effects of humanistic concerns in general news reports using the methods of analysis and synthesis, In the course of study, the writer finds out some new changes, there are more humanistic concerns in news reports, news report for individual shifts from group, there are more focus on cultivating people's mental health and positive personality. The changes of humanism in all these news reports are related to powerful country and people's rich lives, the emphasis on mental health and positive personality will be of great importance to building a harmonious society, as an active role in promoting.
