Design And Implementation Of A Ladle Furnace Control System

Analysed the idea of design and application of the control system in detail in the article, based on the introduce of Ladle Furnace produce technology and the main equipment equipments in Baosteel, and did some more deep research of how to take the full of use of network, fieldbus and PLC technology, in order to make the control system level of Ladle Furnace in Baosteel reach the international advanced level. On the basic, I provided the programme structure based on Industrial Ethernet, Profibus fieldbus, PLC and General Industrial PC systems.Analysed the technology and design of Profibus fieldbus in detail. PROFIBUS fieldbuses that we used integrated all kinds of electrical equipments, instruments and net-equipments, had arrived a high level of automatization in plant. The article is mainly to introduce some fieldbus technology including the detail of PROFIBUS-DP and PROFIBUS-PA, according to the aspects of function, net hardware, technical parameter and net configuration. In order to get the pertinence of technology which will be introduced, I added some applications that we met in the project of Ladle Furnace. In addition to, I simply introduced the basic of communication and diagnostic, from which we can know the technology deeply more.Described in detail of the Principle and PLC hardware configuration, software programming and WinCC HMI programming ideas. PLC is a industrial controller on the basis of the microcomputer technology developed. The issue S7-400PLC which achieved LF controlment, has a stable performance, high reliability, and simple control features. PLC hardware configuration is relatively simply, the key is the best selection based on actual demand. PLC software programming and WinCC HMI programming is a fussy process with more details, it is difficult to introduce in the text well, so only the ideas of programming process are introduced. WinCC as HMI programming software, it provides the function templates that apply to the industrial graphics, messages, archives, and tables. WinCC also provides an open interface for user solutions, which makes it is possible that WinCC will be integrated into the complex, a wide range of automation solutions.
