With the development of technology, the demands of the rate of production, cost of steel, purify and performances are higher. The efficient path to improve the quality and adjust the constituent is to purify steel; its major equipment is Ladle Furnace. The ingredient control system of HU NAN XIANGTAN STEEL GROUP CO., LTD have the defects,such as the drop,the contradiction ingredien precision and ingredien time,the undulate of ingredien precision caused by operator.So it is difficulty to meet User's increasing demands for high-quality steel products.In order to save time,at the preliminary stage,it is in a rapid feeding condition.When the weight bring about the desired 70%, in order to control precision, it is in a slow feeding condition.Because the kind of materials is different, the rate of flow of materials is different,too. In order to save time, this paper adopts the fuzzy control to dynamically confirm the point of rapid feeding and slow feeding. When the actual weight is less than the desired, the vibration frequency of magnetic vibrator feeders will stop feeding to compensate the drop. Iterative learning control is used to compensate the drop in this paper,the value of advance stop feeding is corrected by the error of the actual weight and the desired weight.After ingredient process is done for a few times,the ingredien precision will come up to the process requirement.We make use of PLC to design ladle furnace ingredient system, the hardware and the software are designed in this paper, and the flow charts and the important functions are shown, too.The configuration software Wincc6.0 is used to design the human-machine interface of the ladle furnace ingredient system, the human-machine interfaces are used to control and monitor the system.When a major fault happens, a voice alarm will remind you. The communication mode of upper computer and lower computer adopts industrial ethernet.The desired weight is confirmed according to the liquid steel composition,in order to show the liquid steel composition intuitively, a LED panel is design to show this data.The theory for automatic feeding to feed hopper has been applied to the work field, the results indicated that the system is stable and simpler in operation. Compared with the original system, it can save manpower.
