With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, mobile multimedia communication has turned into a hotspot in the field of monitoring. This thesis has mainly researched one application combining the Embedded linux Operation System (ELOS)and CDMA1X technology to realize wireless video monitoring system.By researehing the software teehnology and hardware technology in embedded system , going deep into master the principle of ELOS, building embedded Linux kernel to satisfy application, studing the CDMA1X technology in the applieation in the ELOS, a kind of general model of collecting and transmitting video by wireless which based on embedded Linux and CDMA1X was put forward in this thesis.The main study in this thesis is to realize reliable and real-time video transmission from end to end. A double-channel selected mechanism based on packet loss rate was proposed. It can improve transmission quality and reliability by a scheduling algorithm of wireless double-channel on network layer.As the simulation experiments have shown, this mechanism applied to double-channel can inerease linearly transmission rate of video stream, and enhanees its stability. It also has several advantage such as credibility, cheap, real-time and high transmit rate and easy to carry out reserved target.
