Currently,embeded processor is switching from the traditional 8 bit,16 bit singlechip to 32 digital processor.Embeded system based on ARM is the most popular solving blueprint of embeded type,which is widely used in hand-held equipment,intellectual terminal,consuming electron,image processing and other related fields.Appling embeded technology into remote-monitoring,the characters of embeded system such as small volume,low power consumption,high stability,powerful function will birng a full-scale technology reformation and updating for security and protection monitoring production and will be a new direction of traditional monitoring production.This dissertation analyzes and discusses embeded design,researches methods of embeded system.Based on detailed comparation and demonstration,core chip LPC2214 ARM7 of NXP is chosen as the main control chip,related peripheral circuits are also designed. In the aspect of software,,μC/OS-Ⅱsource code is chosen as real-time operation system. Transplant of this operating system in LPC2214,design of Bottom driving software and upper layer application software are realized.Furthermore,feasibility of embeded technology in remote monitoring is also discussed. Data remote transmission is realized through GSM short message,and the principle of SMS short message is analyzed.Remote real-time monitoring system based on SMS short message is designed with functions of real-time voice prompt,alarm buzzer,LCD display,message saving of SD card and so on.The hardware circuit has been applied in "transformer substation automation simulation equipement"of integrate automation key lab of Nanjing Normal University,solving the problems of remote transportation of electrical quantity parameter information at unattended transformer substation and operation of remote control transformer substation equipment,laying good foundation for furture development.
