Television imaging system holds an important position during the development of information technology. Intelligent television camera lens is an important corollary equipment of the radar intelligent television tracking system, which integrates with characteristics of miniaturization, intelligence and high reliability. It implements the observation, recognition and tracking of the far distance targets. Due to the atrocious using environment and particularity of equipment working, it must be distinguishingly designed.Aiming at the reliability requirement of the television camera lens, we researched the influence of the using environment to the reliability and the technology approach of improving the reliability. Based on the television camera lens's characteristics of miniaturization, intelligence and large brightness adjustment range, the approach of adjusting brightness was presented, which combines with automatic iris, electronic shutter of CCD camera and optic film filtering. This approach replaces the brightness adjustment method of the traditional volatile density plate, or way of only useing automatic iris and CCD camera electronic shutter, which expands the brightness adjustment range of television camera lens, realizes the intelligention of brightness adjustment and improves the feasibility of miniaturization. A structural design with floating the CCD camera was put forward, which expands the temperature use range of CCD camera and improves the electromagnetism compatibility.Through a series of environment experiments and indoor detections, the television camera lens well satisfies the environment and technology requirement of car-loading equipment, and has already manufactured in batches.
