With the rapid development of current communication network, various network services have been widely used in our daily life and work. The electronic voting is a kind of network service instead of the traditional voting, its application and development have also been catching more and more people's attention. Now, it is becoming a hot issue that how to design a more secure and more applicable electronic voting scheme in the field of information security.By taking the electronic voting as the research object, this paper analyzes and studies the basic theories and key technologies of electronic voting on the theoretical basis of cryptography technology. Meanwhile, this paper analyzes some typical electronic voting schemes, and then finds some inadequacy of security and practicability in current electronic voting schemes. For the above-mentioned inadequacy, this paper designs a secure and reasonable electronic voting scheme. This scheme satisfies the basic requests of electronic voting as follows. Firstly, it uses the algorithm of public cryptography, digital signature and blind digital signature to ensure the security of the voting information. Secondly, it uses two-way challenge/response identity authentication technology based on USB KEY to ensure the legitimacy of voter's identity. Thirdly, it uses the pattern which is based on multi-entities, then it makes voting entities' power separate to ensure the impartiality in voting process.Finally, this paper implements a safe electronic voting system on the basis of above-mentioned scheme.
