"The Image of Women in Advertisements" has wide attention for a long history as a subject by the media and feminist researchers. Scholars find that there exist deviations, discrimination and stereotypes about portrayed women in current male-dominated media. As a main branch of the mass media, the men's magazine is able to reflect more, as men in a "watch" status, and its vision in mapping out the female image. This paper select FHM, a representative of the domestic men's magazines, which is named Chinese version of Playboy .Through a total of 40 volumes cover girl study about the magazine which has been published more than three years, I hope to use the men's magazine editors and the vast majority of the audience's reaction to make a more objective conclusion.This paper in which western scholars' research results have been only a part roots in China's domestic situation to make an in-depth study and discussion about FHM's cover girl image as well as its many social concerns conducted. Whether on their own magazine sales, or domestic audience for aesthetic needs, FHM magazine cover girl can not only be objectified women, as seen in the image. As a special advertising type, cover girl is a representation of real society more than a sign. Therefore it shouldn't be solely criticized. It should be discussed objectively.
