Under the influence of consumerism, the image of female beauty are manipulatedby rules of economics, has become a visually attractive product, cover girl isrepresentative of this particular product. Print media as an important visual symbol, thecover girl for the public to build a utopian fantasy of feminine beauty, providing for theobjects to emulate. She is one of the characterization of consumer culture, consumerculture and mass media is the result of both.Recent years, the cover girl on behalf of the media image of women began to beconcerned about the researchers and cultural researchers. Gender studies scholarsmostly from the perspective of the causes of Cover Girl stereotype, and the image of theconstruction of the existing bias and discrimination.
