The computer lab' s responsibilities in university are teaching computer culture course, teaching computer programming language, teaching practice course, etc.Management of computer lab is very important for completing above responsibilities perfectly. As the scale of teaching growing, number of practice course increasing and number of computes in lab increasing, efficient management of computers becomes the main problem needs to be solved, especially num of teachers in lab is restricted.A scientific management system is the base to improve efficiency of management. With a good system,we can improve efficiency of management indeed. The paper concludes a system which fits developmemt of most universities, considering the fact of KMUST CC.It puts forward "Students must have a card when they come into or leave from lab, Teachers must insist the 'Students In Plan First' and 'One Student,One Card,One Computer' system".Good order in lab is protected as we have a good system.Besides this,CC needs to develop a set of software using existing equipments to replace handwork, and improve efficiency indeed. The paper concludes an abstract and scientific module, including the card module, the gating module, the logon module and the process module. After concluding, the paper analyses the modules above using classic software engineering methods, researches the relative technologies including data transferring, barcode, serial port, windows gina and DES.Main features of the software system are low cost, high compatibility, universal property and efficiency. This paper' s research is helpful for scientific management of computer lab, deduction of software, computer integration control, safe data transmission.
