Teaching activities in public computer lab is an important venue, which is mainly responsible for computer culture course, computer graduation design and the freedom to experiment. This paper analyzes the laboratory management system at home and abroad of the recent status, describes the current management of a school laboratory, putting forward the current laboratory management issues to be addressed: laboratory management scheduling is not convenient, the management is heavy workload, resources are not fully utilized, equipment use and management are confusion, the teacher courseware, student job management unreasonable. Based on the above situation, it is necessary to use advanced course management software for system design and development. CMMI is a mature software development process management model, is the international standard software development process assessment. The entire system development process: requirements management, requirements change management, system planning, system analysis and design, system configuration, system testing, all can be it guidance. This article according to the actual needs of school laboratories and management of specific business features, developed with industry characteristics of software systems, it has certainly advanced, practical, and scalable, the main function modules include: user management, device management, course management and system management modules. It oriented students, teachers and administrators, they can be use this system according to different user permissions. It is convenient to use the services of this system provides features to enhance teaching effectiveness, and improve laboratory management.After testing, based on CMM2 of the laboratory resource management system has strong practicality and scalability. But because of the time and personal level, the system still features simple, safety deficiencies, follow-up including course management module curriculum and teaching Department data interchange, facilities management and logistics assets associated database of the Department in order to achieve interoperability, resource sharing.
