Research On Cmmi-based Ssp Process Management Support System Of A Software Company

Software products can not complete instantaneously with people's mind, it needs a Research and develop process. One is software engineering process, involving technology-related activities, and the other is the software management process, involving management related activities. Software Process Management is a Lifecycle Management of software development and maintenance.In order to get ideal software quality, improve the efficiency and reduce development costs, software companies have gotten in a software process model CMMI which was released by Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University.CMMI provides us a full defined and repeatable process models,it describes only the process capability that a mature organization should have. It is a worldwide standard that used to measure software process capability,but not suitable for all companies to implement. Different companies have different situations. They need to find their own software process specification which is in line with business objectives and easy to implement. This process needs to cut from CMMI, and needs to complement the things what CMMI are not covered.In this thesis it introduced the problems of software development process in enterprises, pointed out that the solution of that problem is the CMMI model. It analyzes and compare CMM and CMMI through accessing literature,summarizes.the key points of process improvement by participating in process improvement projects and tailoring the standard process for the enterprise.SSP process management support system is analyzed and designed by tracking software enterprise process improvement project of CMMI according to the analysis and the data collection of the CMMI process improvement implementation. It divided into four major modules in accordance with the laws of CMMI model process areas.According to the established process of enterprises and the description of process areas related to process management,it extracts executable process management activities in actual work, builds a process wealth database and completes the function design of process management module.SSP process management support system can help enterprises standardize the software development process, support continued organization innovation, encourage enterprises to make better software process implementation. Promote implementation of standard, feedback of the problem and deepening of the improvement.
