The application of E-card system helps us to realize the digital consumption and standardization on management in campus, and achieve the goal of financial centralized management. It has become an important part of digital campus. As an applied system based on rational database which requires a quick response to the consumption request of its user, E-card system is designed mostly to fulfill its application function instead of its data analysis. However, we may find out rules from diversification and underlying problems through data analysis. Therefore, it is significant to establish a data analysis system.Based on the transactions data of campus card, the thesis is to establish a data analysis system through an integrated application of data warehouse, On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) technology and data mining technology. First, the basic principal of data warehouse, OLAP and data mining technology and its core algorithm are introduced in the thesis. Then through a primary analysis on the information of campus card, and data warehouse technologies, we integrate and transform some correlative databases into an integrated database which will make mining work more effectively, and thus a data warehouse is established. Finally, the thesis makes an introduction of our attempts and efforts in this area. We conduct clustering analysis by using K-means algorithm, and then discuss the algorithm for association rule mining. We adopt an improved algorithm for association rule mining and hence work out rules of dining hall consumption and the relationship between water consumption and students' sex.The thesis indicates that the application of data mining in data analysis of E-card is significant, which can not only provide a stable foundation for a further research on integrated knowledge acquisition and the construction of an entire analysis platform, but also help to establish a higher- level leader decision support system in the future.
