How to carry out the work reasonably and effectively on the poverty stricken students in colleges has become a big problem of management on college students. However, most management software in function stresses on the foundation of universities’information management, not very good in comprehensive analysis and measurement data. Therefore, we hope to be able to in the existing management system, combined with the knowledge of data warehouse, realize data mining function, provide scientific and effective data to support for management decision makers.The article is taking poverty stricken students aid work for example in Changzhou Institute of Engineering Technology, based on studying the campus card transaction data, through the comprehensive use of data warehousing, OLAP, data-ming technology, we tap useful knowledge, around Higher vocational college valuation building data platform, data analysis and data mining the application of the model and have discusses on evaluation process improvement. In accordance with target on the data analysis-flat, building the data warehouse, data model of poverty stricken students assessment system, solve the multidimensional analysis problem of department, major, province, household income by data mining technology, using the chart analysis and correlation analysis method of knowledge discovery. At last, according to above knowledge discovery put forward the improvement suggestions on poverty stricken students’ assessment system in allusion to higher vocational colleges and universities management.This paper will be the knowledge that the work of excavation for the campus card data analysis, and knowledge of these schools to support decision-making support for the work of innovation is meaningfulness. At the same time, work now for the structural integrity of the analysis platform and to achieve a higher level of leadership support for the overall decision-making framework to lay a solid foundation.
