| The plan of wireless network of WCDMA system is a critical work for WCDMA system to be commercialized. The plan directly influences the performance of the equipments, the network's capacity and the operation quality, as well as the cost of the network's construction. The content of the plan includes the pre-plan of a network, detailed plan and the optimized opening. The output of the network plan is the design scheme of the network. It will be provided to the construction of the wireless network. The plan will mutually act with the input requirement analysis of the construction, marketing tactic, construction investment.This thesis starts with the idea of the wireless network plan. The first half part mainly introduces the network structure of the WCDMA system, the technological details. Combined with my knowledge and experience in wireless network plan, based on the previous plans, the methods and principles of wireless plan are introduced and explained. Then the idea of balancing the capacity and range is suggested. We also analyze the coexist problem of 2/3G on the aspects of roaming and handover, and discuss the sharing property of 2/3G networks in terms of jamming and link budget, and suggest the idea of initial network construction and upward enlarging for the regional WCDMA construction.The last half part of the thesis focuses on WCDMA network construction in the legacy 2G network, which is running currently in the region of Luliang. We put out the scheme of network construction, show the simulation of the scheme. We also analyzes the service coverage, service quality, and network load. We suggest that the number of the customers is 44,600, which could be supported by the initial plan in the region of Luliang。The result and method we proposed in this thesis could be a guide for the WCDMA network under construction. |
