With the global economy and the network communication technology development,3G network techniques emerged and matured in many countries and regions worldwide and3G network techniques have been deployed all over the world received welcome and praise. This thesis is mainly based on WCDMA version specification, combined with the Tianjin region of China Telecom3G mobile network technology in the construction of the future application of the WCDMA radio network, planning for a certain amount of exploration and research.In this thesis, after the comparison of2G/3G network planning techniques found that a large deployment of2G network, large users, therefore,3G wireless network planning technology with the2G network planning techniques will reasonably co-exist for some time, relying on each other, supporting each other. Analysis in this article describes how to solve the contradictions between the two network constructions, to promote co-development.The whole process of WCDMA wireless network planning includes planning and design objectives, information gathering, link budgets, system parameter settings, and simulation and other stages. In this thesis, WCDMA radio network planning for the design and implementation, and finally through the use of simulation software for network planning, through the different conditions and circumstances of the site to adjust the settings of system parameters, the simulation calculations, the simulation results obtained and the theoretical analysis conclusions, thus completing the final network design and the base station configuration for wireless network planning for coverage and capacity requirements.Tianjin in accordance with the "China2011-2013Tianjin wireless network development plan" after four constructions, through the distribution of the existing site analysis available the following:(1) Network coverageAs the difficulty of site selection, site passive relocation and other reasons, the urban layout of the local base station is relatively sparse, outdoor and indoor coverage needs to be strengthened, including Red Star Road, Hedong District, water park around the Nankai, Hebei District6road, the day Wei Road, Tanggu dense city area north and northeast, etc.; some existing coverage is inadequate transportation routes, need to be improved, including the Jin Ji Railway, North Central Railway, Beijing-Tianjin high-speed and some provincial, etc.; part of the administrative villages not yet covered, coverage is still room for improvement points; the county base imbalances in the distribution, from the area, population and other point of consideration, Jinnan, Jixian county base station and other investment is relatively low.(2) Network capacityOn the one hand,3G market early training, user development is relatively slow compared with the number of business there is a certain gap between the forecast. Wireless network at relatively low-load conditions, the overall utilization is not high. On the other hand, according to business forecast caliber considerations, wireless network capacity configuration is relatively modest, due to the uneven distribution of wireless features, there have been overloading the local base station case, the current project to consider targeted for expansion, while the need to keep analysis of the site load, the amount of change in business focus, tracking the expansion needs of the site there is, in a timely manner the necessary expansion.(3) The quality of the networkRoad test and simulation results show that urban coverage levels generally good, but there is a weak local coverage area. In addition, there are networks, such as individual viaduct, tunnel coverage of poor quality, LAC boundary set unreasonable, Room sub/outdoor switch area is unreasonable,3G/2G interoperable (cross-equipment manufacturers) and other non-smooth quality and performance issues to be resolved.In summary, we follow the "China2011-2013Tianjin wireless network development planning", taking fully into account both the demand and Tianjin and future3G networks based on business needs, and fully meet the requirements of individual users, to design and implement the3G wireless network set up for the program in Tianjin, a full road test of the program and the simulation design, and verification fully meet the needs of system reliability, the formation of the related software copyright patents,"China Tianjin2011-2013wireless network development planning "framework, the completion of the3G wireless network set up work to look for other provinces and cities to promote wireless networks play a guiding role.
