The Research And Practice Of Yichun Unicom WCDMA Transmission Network

With the coming of the 3G era and deep development of the 3G services, major mobile operators are all engaged in related programs for its challenge. In order to improve its core competitiveness and shift its business from a single mobile operator into a integrated-service communications operator as quickly as possible, an enterprise, with the principle that transmission line comes first, must build a delivery platform which can meet its business development at the present and late stage.The enterprise must make full use of existing resources to construct the transmission network, and gradually expand and transform the network. The thesis mainly introduces the principles and development trends of related technologies of the transmission network. Firstly, it briefly introduced the current 2G network of Yichun Unicom and laid its stress on how to choose a proper construction plan for WCDMA transmission network.In the thesis, the author carries out a detailed analysis, involving the specific features of WCDMA network services, WCDMA transmission network interface, WCDMA transmission network structure, WCDMA transmission network bearer technologies and the like. And the thesis finally introduced in detail the construction scale and process of Yichun Unicom WCDMA transmission network.The construction programs provided in the thesis are designed on the basis of meeting short-term and medium-term services.They can meet the demand of opening WCDMA business in the short term, while in the medium term they can meet the demands of fixed network and other new types of business.The author participated in planning, designing and implementing of this project, while dominating the data of the construction and transformation of this transmission network and completing the task of opening the base station at its late stage.We have a new understanding of the importance of the transmission network through the research on related technologies in this thesis.For the communication network, the transmission network can be compared to the aorta in human body. If the transmission network is not running properly, the entire communication network will have to face a crisis of paralysis.If the capacity and bandwidth rate of transmission network is insufficient, then all kinds of high-speed communications network of new business will not be realized.In short, it is the development of transmission network which restricts the development of communication networks.If we have a desire to develop communication technologies, transmission network must come first.
