Based On E-government System Of The Open Source Workflow Engine Osworkflow

E-government, that government agencies use modern computers and network technologies to transfer its management and service functions to achieve the goal of optimization its organization structure. Then the government can provide efficient, standard, transparent service of time and space.There are more or less some business processes in E-government system, such as document approval process and licence apply process. It will be some maintenance problems in using the traditional development way of hard code due to the milt-variability of the business process. In order to solve this problem, workflow technology is invoked. Because of the milt-hierarchical structure of the business process define tools, business process resolve tools and process execute tools, workflow technology can solve the problems of process variable easily.The Beijing Municipal Information E-government system is designed based on OSWorkflow, which is an open source workflow engine.The system is conist of many tiers,such as data access tier,function fier,workflow execute tier and service locator tier. The system is developed with these frustruction tiers.First, the business process is analyzed and then OSWorkflow is used to developed system. In order to use OSWorkflow, Permission model, workflow condition and workflow function is customed.The paper describes the actual project design and development process, with a certain value and practical significance.
