What is Workflow is a abstract concept of controlling orientation of operation , authorities and something else aroud those. A successful system of workflow may make corporations changing their flows of operation without re-developing system and what's more it will advance the investment and ability of competition although workflow is a developing technology ,on the other way round old system would block the process of bringing new flow of operation into effect when a corporation need to alter its flows of operation .There are more and more demands of changing flow of operation while competitions grow harder on market.Workflow is not only used abroad on fields of Bank,Insurance,Law and Machinery of the government,but also is applicable for management of developing software ,fields of Industry and Manufactrue.It said that workflow may bring momentous influence to next generation of information systems.First of all ,It presents the history and actuality of developing of workflow and it also presents what workflow benefits on economy and society. It analyse the disadvantage of foreign workflows on contrast of some particular domestic workflow in use and it gives definition mentioned in this context,requirements and functions of workflow considered the domestic status.Secondly,It chooses JAVA language,MyEclipse develop-tool and OraclelOg database base on requirements and different OS.After that it describes the status of workflow in open source of JAVA,and it fixes on OSWorkflow ,a open source workflow whick can be altered allodially and have achieved the most rudimental functions of workflow,to be basic of carrying out requirements in this context. Finally it analysis the functions that can not be carried out or not suffice the requirements.The next part is about design of software.It confirms the rules ,goals ,disposals of flows of system and the sturct of whole system which is Web2.0 + Struts + Spring + iBatis according with J2EE criterion.After these works we need confirm design of system functions , database, disposals of exception, data-control step by step ,and give key classes and plans of tool classes needed.In the part about carring out requirements ,it gives partical code and pictures of running instance according to the flow chart and workflow engine mentioned above.In the last paragraph,it is considered that the workflow engine has passed through testing successfully and completed all requirements ,what's more it has been used in OA system already. It will be optimistical that workflow will be used wildly on market in the furure.In aspect of technology it can be studied further in point of view of SOA on two functions ,one is combination of workflow and corporation operation flat while the other is management and analysis of process of corporations.
