The Implementation Of Office Automation Based On Osworkflow And Open Source Frame

The traditional office model commonly used manual process which is not onlyinefficient and waste of resources but also loss of information in procedure of documentflow and approval.The document tracking and management is difficult to achieve.Withthe development of computer technology, especially network technology and with needsof enterprises’ paperless office management,the traditional office model can’t meet thegrowing transaction processing and information-sharing and other needs.Currently, themost widely used technique is the use of MVC which is combined with B/Sdevelopment model.With lightweight framework, we can build an office businessinformation platform based on workflow technology wherein the workflow engine isresponsible for some or all of the control functions of the workflow processing, andultimately fulfill the networking, paperless and automatitionof corporate office, andimprove the efficiency of office work.On the issues above, the main study object of the thesis is the applying ofworkflow technology and Java EE architecture in an office system.The thesis gives adetailed discussion and research of the design and implementation in office automationsystem.The main contents of the thesis is as belows:Firstly, the origin, development and research status of workflow technologyareintroduced, and then the functional structure and reference model of the workflowmanagement system are introduced, and several mainstream workflow engines arecompared, thereafter the core ideas and working ways of the OsWorkflow which is anopen source workflow engine are elaborated, then the integration of the Java EElightweight framework such as Struts,Spring and Hibernate is studied, and finally thedetail design and implementation of the office automation software are given.
