First, I analyze the application and characteristic of the Web structure and performance principle and MVC structure. Second, I specify the concept, performance principle and operation mechanism of the network based course selection system. Finally, combining with the reality of Yibin University, I design a completely international course selection system.Analyzing the credit system being used by Yibin University, I've drawn out the necessity, importance and availability of the online course selection system, which relies on the Yibin University Network; focusing on the whole design of this system, I've specify the detail of such procedure and analyzed the essence of the course selection based on credit system management; analyzing the relation among three entities, that is, Students, teachers and course, I have concluded the space and time constraint relation; analyzing the event flow and case chart by the system, I've give some key problem of it, such as the creation of database, significant function design, module partition and so on.This subject clarifies mainly component technology and model design, then offers an available frame in the use of inter network application program, that is, Model-View-Control (MVC), and take the online course selection system for example to realize it. MVC model separate the business login and the interface show in theory and its propulsion bring great significance in the development and application of Web. J2EE technology is first developed by SUN corporation in 1999, based on the whole enterprise application development norm and standard, has its cross platform inter-operation, extension and safety, therefore, it has vast support in the business. JSP technology is based on one of active Web technology standard of Java language, which is offered by SUN corpora has the some cross-platform capability and safety. This system use the mature MVC model structure and develop the JSP/Servlet+EJB Web application. Form the frame structure to component design, ruse and the advantage of J2EE frame structure itself, as well as the model design make the system more easy maintenance extension and reduce difficulty in reusing the code and design.By this subject study, whose first purpose is resolving the classic problem existing in the procedure of optioned course management in network environment, the second is arming at improving the teaching management quality and efficiency and contribute the computer application and technology, especially the network technology application and study.
