With the high development of information technology, market competition becomes more and more strong. Due to many corporations' size scale-up, every kinds of production data become intensely huge. If lots of information cannot be collected and disposed, the enterprise 's run will be severely influenced. Just in this background of society, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) gradually enters Chinese company, especially steel industry. ERP system not only gathers information and data timely and exactly, but also reduces human error. And it still increases production efficiency and profits because of including logical management.In this thesis, the background is on the basis of the purchase management system in ERP mode of Ningbo BaoXin stainless steel Corporation. In order to achieving ERP system successfully, according to the user needs, the management rules are analyzed. And the correlative operations about purchase management system are designed, such as contract management, inquiring price system, plan management etc. The system makes the relative worker of Ningbo BaoXin stainless steel Corporation quite beneficial and enhances the work efficiency. Technically, the whole system adopts B/S structure based on Web, using J2EE and MVC mode. With J2EE container and module, MVC mode is also analyzed deeply. The easily manipulated model is designed by means of the offered interface with JAVA techniques, such as, JSP, SERVLET, HTML, XML, SQL etc.In the end, the paper researches the problem of vendor selection in the course of purchase. Analyzing purchase mode of NingBo BaoXin stainless steel Corporation, the author brings forward multi-vendor purchase in order to reduce workload of missionary. In this thesis an algorithm for vendor selection using AHP and linear programming is proposed to get the final partner considering both qualitative and quantitative factors. The result depends more on subjective factors and people's experience. And it can't solve the problems to which accurate results are required. For this reason we think that more research are to be done before we get the accurate results.
