| The pace of contemporary education reform continues to accelerate with the change of times. Shanghai Second Polytechnic University starts from adult education to full-time vocational education and upgrades to ordinary undergraduate education. Now this university has been listed as pilot unit of professional graduate degree in "talents training project of serving national special needs" by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. It has opened up a characteristic development road of technical application colleges. The management system of this university has also gradually developed from the original simple professionalization to complex diversification, which places high demand on the working efficiency of the student management system. The current practice of the original artificial selection to stand-alone version of student management system cannot meet the needs of the new situation.The design and research of SSPU (Shanghai Second Polytechnic University) online course credit selection system mainly aims at developing an online course management system which can realize multi-platform interconnection (cross platform), networking (solve geographical restrictions), high efficiency (implement the work which originally may need multi-sector coordination) and easy operation from the perspective of this university's own needs. It can not only improve the working efficiency of the academic staff, reduce the complexity of manual management work, but also to a certain extent improve the elective experience of students by saving their course selection time and increasing the accuracy of course selection. In a word, it improves the teaching quality and student management level of this university.Under the guidance of core idea in software engineering, this system uses B/S (Browser /server mode), while the development platform uses J2EE, SSH framework and other techniques, including Ajax, JavaScript, JasperReport, JDBC etc. In order to meet the course selection requirements of huge user number and high instantaneous peak value in SSPU (Shanghai second polytechnic university), database of this platform uses Oracle. Based on the system test and on-line test, we finally verify its correct business logic of this system function, and get comprehensive user affirmation. |
