A Car Weather Radar Structure Of The Overall Design,

X band vchiclc-carried Doppler weather radar is mainly used inregional real-time weather services, site test for science and research,weather report for important engineering construction, as well as disasterprevention and resume weather service.In this paper, the general structure design of X band vehicle-carriedDoppler wcather radar is presented. The main structure parts of this radararc introduced in accordance with the features of weather radar and therequirements for techniques and environment conditions. In the design, thegeneral structure design techniques and methods used by our Institute todevelop vehicle-carried radar are referred; the shortage for some foreignstructure is overcome; the road, railway and air transportation problems areresolved. The general radar layout, pedestal and up/down subsystem design,radar carrier running stability and anti-wind capability, radar equipment'sEM design, thermal design and antiknock design, reliability, maintainabilityand safety design, radar attached equipment's comparison and selection arealso studied.
