With the development of the science and technology, the random number generator(RNG) has got more and more application in many areas such as security of communication,entertainment,music,multimedia,simulation and test,mathematic,etc. This project is one realization of RNG in cryptography.Since the TRNG has great advantage over the PRNG on randomness, the oscillator sampling technique is adopted to get needed the random numbers after we've compared different methods of TRNG. We use a digital mixer realized with a D flip-flop flipped by a high potential to mix two independent clocks and sample the high frequency data input with the low frequency clock input. To stabilize the output a "XOR chain" is designed.The discrete wavelet transform (DWT)has been applied to signal processing systems,we apply the decomposition and reconstruction of wavelet analysis to random number generator to raise the quality of true random number.The project is divided into two parts: analog and digital. The former is to design the oscillator and here we use Ring oscillator. The latter includes wavelete filter design and "XOR chain" design. The simulation,parameter adjusting,layout interconnecting are also presented here. In the end the quality of the RNG is tested by several methods.
