Web-based Campus Information Management System

Along with development and populariazation of campus net construction of domestic middle vocational & technical school, the management information system based on Internet structure is developing vigorously and playing a huge role. This article take"the campus management information system" topic as a backing,creating management information system based on B/S structure to meet the needs of campus information management of Linhai Middle Vocational & Technical School.According to the actual need of campus information management of Linhai Middle Vocational & Technical School, this article discusses the current situation and characteristic of international and domestic research of management information system, and use system structure of client's computer/server and explorer/server on the development of system.The development of system use Access database, take Dreamwear as devlopment tool to creat ASP dynamic website. The main works of the paper are as follow:1. Understood the development model of practical system based on web and concerning technologies: ASP technology, ADO technology, Access technology, development tool Dreamwear etc.2. Analysed possible security problem of practical system based on web.3. Discussed the current situation and characteristic of international and domestic research of management information system; system frame structure; management system design; system test.4. Participated in the analysis and overall design of whole system, and also designed and developed a branch system of management of computer teaching and research group. This branch system includes the general situation of comuter teaching and research group, dynamic information, teaching and research, moral education, student's field, and notes etc. After testing and improving disposal, this branch system had 1 school term's work, the working situation is good, matched the need of design, and we realized our expected purpose.
