University Library Management Innovation Research

It's opportunities and challenges of development to all trades and professions between twenty century and twenty-first century following the risk of knowledge economy and network construction of information resource .In the new situation, it is a important issue that our university library field discusses how to improve our management and service under the new situation. This thesis tries to introduce research thinking of management theory into current libraries .The writer put some own ideas about the current university libraries. I wish the librarians can use for reference. This thesis has four partsIn part one, author discusses conception of the library management. By summing up some theories from different scholars put the conception of the university library management. Author points out the problems in university library management and point out the necessary and importance of management innovation in our university libraries. In part two, the author illustrates the connotation and the characteristics of innovation of university library management.In part three, author discusses the outside environment and inside environment of the university library. The author analyzes that economic, culture, academic, industrial factors, customer need, human resources and the ways of work. Author point out the necessity of innovation of university library management again.In part four, it is the main part of this thesis .The author discusses the innovation methods, styles and conceptions in macroscopic and microcosmic aspect, including the innovation of library ideas, the innovation of library stratagem, the innovation of library organization structure, the innovation of library culture and the innovation of library marketing. This article explain the conception of library management, introduces current university libraries management level. It states the necessity and importance of the innovation of university library management .The article illustrate the connotation, substance and characteristics of innovation of university library management with management theory .The author stresses on the practical research of the innovation of university library management.The author's main objective is to set up the theory of innovation of university library management and improve the practice of university library management by analyzing the factors of university library management with modern management science under the situation of university library management. Contribution to theory:The article illustrates the connotation of innovation of university library management. It is useful to deepen the research of the innovation of university library management, and establish the theory frame of university library management with the modern management science.Contribution to practice:The article will be helpful to the practice of the innovation of university library management in China. It is also useful to play the role of education and service ,and improve the service to a high quality .
