Under The New Situation Of University Library Management Innovation

It is opportunities and challenges of development to all trades and professions between twenty century and twenty-first century following the risk of knowledge economy and network construction of information resources . In the new situation, it is important issue that our university library field discusses how to deal with the new situation for better and faster sustainable development. This thesis tries hard to introduce research thinking of management theory into our current libraries .The author expects to achieve the goal of studying the issue by more methods and views.This thesis has six parts.In part one, the author analyzes the impacting on library from network environment, and presents the importance and contents of the issue, and illustrates the research methods, the thinking and construction of the paper.In part two, the author points out the problems in university library management and point out the necessity and importance of management innovation in our university libraries.In part three, the author sums up the relative documents of library management and review the management idea from china and foreign country.In part four, the author illustrates the connotation and the characteristics of innovation of university library management.In part five, it is the main parts of this thesis. The author discusses the innovation methods, styles and conceptions in macroscopic and microcosmic aspects, including the innovation of library idea, the innovation of library management systems, the innovation of library organization structure, the innovation of mechanism of library management, the innovation of human resources management, the innovation of library information resources of management and the innovation of library and information services.In part six, the author looks into the distance to the study.Contribution to theory:This article illustrates the connotation of innovation of university library management. It is useful to deepen the research of the innovation of university library management, and solve the problem in library management, and establish the theory frame of library management with the modern management science.Contribution to practice:This article is helpful to the practice of innovation of university library management in China. It is also useful to play the role of education and service, and improve the service to a high quality.This article explains the conception of library management, introduces the development of library management ideas and the university libraries . It states the necessity and importance of the innovation of university library management.
