Based On Web Service Research Department, Workflow Management System

Workflow technology, as a new research field, has being widely applied in the fields of manufacturing, office automation, concurrent engineering, and electronic government and so on. It is the key technology to realize modeling, optimizing, managing and integrating of enterprises' business process and also the automation of business process. The application of work flow technology separates concrete process logic from the business realization, which enable enterprise dynamically establish the enterprise information system according to business flow. Meanwhile it increases the reuse rate of software, takes the greatest efficiency of system.Web service is a new kind of Web application, is a kind of software groupware that can be visited through the open Internet protocol, and represents the integration of groupware technology and Web technology. Because of such advantages as open and mutual operation, the irrelation of language and platform, etc. Web service has been the first solution in isomerous system integration field. It has been supported by most software manufacturers and has a wide application prospect.This paper first analyzes the workflow technology both here and abroad , the current situation of the development and the existing problem, and on this base , discusses the meaning of the workflow management system ,advances the goal of research, summarizes the workflow technology , and concludes the existing workflow products. Then, it introduces the features and advantages of workflow and Web Service technology, analyzes the possibility of combination of these two technologies, accomplishes the analysis and design of a workflow management system consulting with the reference model which was advanced by Workflow Management Coalition, researches a web Service-based workflow modeling method, enhances the workflow model's flexibility by introducing Web Service technology in the modeling. This paper also researches and realizes the workflow engine by analyzing the system structure.Finally, this paper uses the Microsoft .Net platform as object of college research department management information system, it applies the workflow and Web Service technology into project management information system, and applies the design and implementation of model's main port.
