Research And Implementation Of Web Services-based Workflow Engine

With the continuous development of office automation, the workflow management system become more and more important for the people. Workflow engines as the core components of workflow management system, directly decides the workflow's operational and scheduling. This paper leads into Web services, using its character of platform-independent, language-independent, establish a workflow system based on web services.This paper firstly introduces the current research of workflow system, the definition and origin of workflow and workflow management system, meanwhile, introduce the reference model and architecture from the Workflow Management Coalition; and then introduces the Web services related technology; For the shortcomings of traditional workflow system less than the applicability,propose the workflow engine based on Web services, and its advantages are illustrated in this paper.Next is the system design.This article are designed in detail by the way of modules divided into various sub-modules, and the sub-modules contain process Analysis module,process information memory module, process control module, service module and management control module. The design process clear description the function of each module,and design the specific achieving methods;given the method of processes jump and the implementation of scheduling process, so have a very good preparatory work for system;In the part of achieve, introduce the development environment of the system, given the graphical development tools used on the process definition,designed the class of process instance management,the class of activity instance management,the class of routing type,the class of Reliance on inspection,the class of item management etc,and have a code scheduling for process Jump and process control operations..Finally, the paper summarizes the work, and makes a clear direction for the next job.
