Forest Resource Management System Based On Xml Heterogeneous Data Integration

With the rapid development of the computer, DataBase, network technology and the broad application in the forestry, Lots of application systems had been established by the forestry, from nation to region, from manufactural and managing organization to research institutes. Forest resources management information system is one part of the digital forestry common technology platform in the "digital forestry platform technology research and application", the subordinate department handed in the standard data to the superior digital forestry platform, and provided the gist for the important forestry decision and analysis. These systems are developed mostly by the local department, But the intercommunication and resources sharing cannot be processed among the application systems which are different in DBMS and database structures, so the isolated islands of information had be formed, which led to lateness and disagreement and the low using rate. Therefore, it is a necessary choice for the forest resources management information system to effectively exchange and integrate the data format.The thesis based on the secondary category survey data, according to the source data format and the demand of the submitted data which the superior digital forestry platform demanded factually, it presents the model of the heterogeneous data exchange based on XML. It establishes the foundation for the informationization management information supervision of the higher-up forest resource management department.The thesis firstly studies the related technology of database access technology, data exchange technology and XML technology, and then analyses the main types of the heterogeneous data and main modes of data exchange in the subsystem of data exchange. Aiming at the limitations what is the short of unitive standard of the quondam technology, dependence on the platform, and the great coupling among the different system. It provides a solving scheme that heterougeneous data integration based on XML. The thesis analyses the structure of the heterogeneous data exchange based on the XML, the exchange flow and the implemented process, contraposed the data exchange mode of this system, discusses the technologies, such as JDBC database access interface, the change of the data type, the processing of the binary large objects, the referential integrality, and so on. the main breakthrough is the study on the application of processing the binary large objects — Base 64 encoding and the reference integrality in the forest resources management information system.
