This thesis is based on one of the projects undertaken by Port Automation Simulation Laboratory of Marine Simulation Center (MSC) in Shanghai Maritime University (SMU). The author of it participated in designing and developing the software system of the networking data acquisition equipment.Just as the "nerve-ending" works in nervous system, data acquisition bridges automation system and objective environment, and therefore is an essential method of acquiring information of outer environment. The networking data acquisition equipment transmits field data to the field control layer speedily and effectively. Modern Automation Industry demands lots of the advanced networking data acquisition equipments. The networking data acquisition equipment designed in this laboratory, which is part of the experiment platform of Fieldbus Control System, serves for research and experiment tutorial. The environment of industry application based on multiple communication types, which is established through this platform, provides abundance of experiment for experiment tutorial.Chapter II, at the level of system design, discusses the function demand for thenetworking data acquisition equipment, the hardware and software structure, and the application cases of the networking data acquisition equipment.Chapter III expounds the program flow chart of the module of data acquisition and data processing. In the module of data processing, the digital filtering of eliminating extremum and slide averaging is used; an interface is designed by setting locally or downloading the table of characteristic curve to the networking data acquisition equipment, which enables the data acquisition equipment to scale different acquisition objects.In Chapter IV, Chapter V and Chapter VI, the realization of communication interface is discussed. Chapter IV focuses on CAN Fieldbus, and analyzes the popular CAN application layer protocols: HiLon A, HiLon B, CANOpen, DeviceNet...
