With the development of the industrial technological, industrial process control isgeared to automated, network and intelligent directions. More and more people of allages have moved in favour of industrial field bus. It has high reliability, real time,flexibility, open-ended and other advantages to use CAN bus to establish dataacquisition system. The fieldbus technology has made a comprehensive range ofdevelopment in our country in recent years, and has the broad application prospect.In view of some problems existing in traditional industrial process control, anintelligent data acquisition system based on CAN bus is given in this paper. The high-performance processor STM32is used as the control core. This intelligent dataacquisition system is compose of field intelligent node module, data adapter moduleand PC controlling software. Each field node module which uses the highperformance microprocessor as control core exchanges information with othermodules through CAN interface, and then realize intelligent data acquisition andprocessing; In order to transmit the data collected by the field node module to PC torealize higher level of management, the CAN-USB data adapter module is used, whichmainly realize the bridge connection between CAN protocol and USB protocol andtransmit the data it receives; In order to realize the centralized management andcontrol function, the PC control software is coded in the Visual C++6.0environmental.The total data acquisition realizes digitization, intellectualization and networking inthe industrial process control.The design and implementation process of intelligent data acquisition system isdescribed this paper. The main content in this paper list as below: The design ofhardware circuit and PCB for intelligent node module based on STM32F103microprocessor, and the firmware program development is given; The design ofhardware circuit and PCB for data adapter module based on STM32F105 microprocessor, and the firmware program development is given; The PC controllingsoftware is developed in the environment of Visual C++6.0; The function of PCremotely control the field device is realized by testing the whole data acquisitionsystem.This data acquisition system can be used in industrial process control field, andcould realize the function of intelligence of data collection and remote control. Eachmodule is developed with the standard interface and technical specification, and sothere is a good replacement between the similar products. After debugging shows thatthe system designed have high reliability, good real-time, good anti-interferencecapability and other advantages, and have good reference value and application value.
