Fieldbus is an advanced industrial control technology, the information exch-ange problem between the traditional control system equipment and between sy-stems and outside world is resolved. Fieldbus is not only an open communicati-ons network, but also a fully distributed control system, in the field automation equipments areconnected to the networkas a network node system, then the in-tegrated automation system with management and control integration is constitu-t eed.The emergence and development of field bus enhanced communications ca-pabilities of data communication system,strengthened the connection between ter-minal equipment.DeviceNet is a based on CAN the introduction of low-cost co-mmunications connection, a kind of low-standard network system. Provided the interchangeability of similar components, and reduced the cost and time of ins-tallation equipment and cable.To enable data communication system allows dynamic configuration of con-nections between devices to achieve interchangeability between similar compone-nts, and incraesed device diagnostics function, combined the advantages of Devi-ceNet, selected it as the data communication systems network solution. For the slave device of the input and output signals of the (such as 0-5V or 4-20mA or switch volume), it is necessary to develop as generic as possible the slave node controller, so that such equipment comfortably, rapid access to DeviceNet network.The system used the master-slave structure, the master microcontroller base-d on S3C2410 microprocessor core, the slave used to AT89S52 microcontroller core. The master was responsible for data processing and transmission, with wo-rkstations for data exchange. The slave was responsible for data acquisition of terminal equipment and control it's output. Master and slave used CAN bus c-ommunication, Based on DeviceNet application protocol ensured that data com-munication networks high reliability, interoperability, communications failure aut-omatic identification and recovery, and many other advantages.Firstly, on the DeviceNet fieldbus and the embedded architecture made a s-pecific explanation. Second, explained design program of system. Then introduc-ed hardware circuit design of the master module and slave module, and system software design, included the master and slave software design. At the end su-mmarized a key part of this system, and the system implementation problems f-or resolution.
