This thesis mainly focuses on the weak signal of radar detection. The time difference measure module we designed is FPGA-based and DSP-based. It is applied to a low frequency radar experiment system.At first, it introduces the basic theory of middle frequency sampling , analyses and emulates the Digital Down-Converter Structure. Second, it does the research about the principle and realization of pulse compression technique and sidelobe suppression. Then, it analyses the realization of correlative accumulation. At last, it discusses the CFAR algorithem and explains the design scheme of the whole system.By processing the return wave from radar with pulse compression technique and correlative accumulation method, we can find that the SNR of the signal is good enough for the detection probability. So, we can validate that this weak signal detection project can be used to the radar system.
