As the development of LSI, and the demand of equipments which are applied in the region of Radar and communication, Software defined radio has became one of trends for modern electronic technology.Due to the higher demand of speed and precision of DSP, the intermediate frequency (IF) digitalization receiver which is compared with analog system takes on the advantage of small volume, light weight, low cost, simple configuration, and easy integration. So that digitalization at IF is current trend of communication and Radar development, the traditional analog receiver is now being replaced by digital receiver gradually.Moreover, the pulse compression radar has been widely used in practice because of its far detection range and good range resolution.The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the digitalization realization scheme, technology of IF Receive and pulse compression for LFM pulse compress Radar, and how to implement them with FPGA and other hardware circuits in our system.The main content of this thesis includes:(1) The introduction of theory of digitalization IF receiver,including the theories on signal sampling, multi-velocity signal processing, pulse compress, and so on;(2) Design of system scheme based on system requirements,including confirm the sampling rate, design the decimation filters in digital down converter, and design the matching filters;(3) Analysis and discussion about the software and hardware implement schemes of digitalization IF receiver and the pulse compression system, including the introduction and choice of chips, the realization of system module in FPGA, design hardware circuit;(4) Presentation on the test results about our system based on FPGA.
