Design And Development Of Embedded Data Terminal Platform

The embedded Development Platform of Data Terminal is a new intelligent meter reading system platform designed for JiangSu Elefirst company based on the purpose to solve some disadvantages of the existing meter reading system. The company will have a second-development on this Platform to design the final production. The thesis mainly discusses the hardware design of this project which I take charge of.the thesis, firstly according to the requirement of the new Platform, chooses LPC2292 as its kernel controlling unit and make a whole technique analysis and discussion;then it introduces how to design the peripheral circuit, its including Power Management and Reset circuit, Memory module, Communication module, LCD & Key circuit, A/D Conversion circuit, PWM Output Control circuit and so on; Because the final production will work in a complex environment, the new Platform uses hardware anti-jamming technology, software anti-jamming technology and PCB anti-jamming technology to improve the ability of its anti-jamming;The thesis also discusses the integration debugging of the hardware circuit in the end.By testing, the new system overcomes the disadvantage of the old system and we successfully apply the embedded ARM microprocessor for the design of automatic meter reading system.
