Development Of A PN Analyzer

This paper designs a PN analyzer, which is an important instrument in mobile communication system. It is wildly used in CDMA network for analyses and optimization; also it is a basal tool for CDMA network optimization. It is mainly used to scan offset and Strength of PN of base station in CDMA network, basing on which we can judge whether it is well running, and we can step to analyze mutual interference. Today foreign companies control the domestic marking of network-test instrument of mobile communication system, not only are their instruments very expensive but also serving and update. AS the developing of mobile communication system in our country, a lot of network optimization instruments are needed, so there is much more profit. This paper referenced the standard CDMA2000 and the test standard CDMA2000, and researched the principle of the CDMA2000 test instrument which is designed by overseas company. This paper develops an instrument that is very cheap and good performance.The PN analyzer of the paper includes radio frequency receiver and digital baseband processor and GPS receiver. The radio frequency receiver supports interface for instrument and base station and air interface for mobile station, and it takes the task of magnifying low noise and down-convert and digital baseband processor filtering and magnifying intermediate frequency to reverse link signal. The digital baseband processor samples the received signal after down-convert radio frequency signal to intermediate frequency signal and processes other processing and supports interfaces to computer, next sends data to computer. The GPS receiver supports interface for instrument and GPS system, and receives GPS system signal, next it demodulates the correlative information and sends out benchmark clock signal we need.The paper designed the PN analyzer with using receiver circuit with optimized twice down-convert and highly efficient process arithmetic and comprehensive design and particularly harmonious system.
