The paper discusses PLC Experimental System. Programmable Logical Controller plays the more and more important part in automatization, so the PLC Experimental System has been developed in our school. The core of the system is SIMATIC S7-200 series.Through OPC communication researched, the PC Access connection has been realized between OPC client, which is WinCC, Simit, Excel and Delphi, and OPC server, which is S7-200. Based upon OPC, Sequence Function Chart and Succession Chart have been designed. Free communication, PPI, PROFIBUS-DP have come true, by the network communication of the system discussed. A number of samples have been designed to apply them, and relative methods have been summarized. According as design approach and content of PLC control system, a closed loop control system has been devised. The software and hardware of the system have been contrived, based on controlled plant researched and the assignment of control analysed. The goal of control has been completed with PID inside PLC. The problems of the closed loop control system were put forward in the paper. At the same time, some means have been offered to solve them. The PLC Experimental System has solved the problems of the shortage of Experimental equipment and satisfied teaching requirements.
