The development and usage of new type limekiln is the requirement of national policies of high efficiency, environmental protection and energy conservation, and is also the general trend of the whole manufacture industry.This article introduces the design and application of a new type sleeve on the kilning electric control system. The topic comes from the project of400ton/month Double-Sleeve Limekiln And it mainly studies the automatic control system of lime working equipment of steel plants.This topic is originated from the actual engineering project, which is the innovative product of the writer’s company. The hardware adopts the S7-300PLC controller, S120frequency converter and hydraulic control valve blocks of Siemens. The control software is Step7programming. The software of WinCC Human Machine Interface is employed for the operating and monitoring of the operator. Techniques such as vector closed loop control and Profibus field bus and so on are adopted. During the project, control problems such as signal troubles, slipping of the charging wagon and un-controllability of limekiln calcining temperature are solved by theoretical research, and the production control of the entire new type of double-sleeve limekiln is achieved. The control can reach the advanced control level in domestic now. Furth more, the temperature control of limekiln calcining belt is inducted into the process of automatic discharge, which has filled up the blank of automatic discharging control on calcinations of the limekiln products at present and accomplished the independent technique innovation.
