This paper emphatically investigates the network management technique basing SNMP and its application in network environment, designing five network management function areas which the ISO defined, including performance management, fault management, account management, safe management, and deployment management.At first the paper points out the network management 's position in the project, introducing the related theory of the network management and its applying at present .The paper covers three main parts, including project design, system analysis and detailed function design. On demand of the actual engineering, the key is the true application to meet the demand. The new element lies in the integration innovation. The software adds some elements like network server management, IDS etc. besides achieving the five network management functions. The software adopts the B/ S and C/ S together in the frame, focusing the humanity design mode in graphical interfaces design basing the point that the network manager will use it easily.At the end of the paper, we make a summary of the entire work, and give some ideas and assumptions in the future.
