This thesis originates from a practical engineering project, which belongs to the FPGA technology application in the aviation electron system category. The main task of this project is to design a bus adapter, which will be one part of the aviation electron system, to connect the embedded aviate route controller to the aviation electron bus. This thesis mainly introduces the design of the aviation electron bus adapter, including the bus adapter connect protocol analysis, the system overall design, the FPGA realization of the main controller, hardware design, software design and so on.Firstly, we design the system overall structure, which is based on the analysis of the project background, project demand and the bus adapter connect protocol. According to this system overall structure, we set a transport protocol to standardize the data transmission. Secondly, according to the system design request, we select the main controller and peripheral component to build the hardware platform and complete the hardware design. This part includes the FPGA realization of the main controller as well as various functions modules of hardware system, such as the design of MEL-STD-1553B protocol controller module, RS-422 conversion module, FPGA configuration module, power module and so on. Finally, we introduced the system software development. This part mainly completes the software design, the function module division as well as the software realization of various functions module, including the design detail of the BU-61580 interface module, the UART module and the protocol control module and so on.
