The self-developed intelligent system of the electric serried shelves adds the autocontrol system to the traditional serried shelves. And the control system is combined to the body of the serried shelves. It runs reliably and stably and supplies various functions in safety .It can improve the automaticity in accessing , consulting , utilizing and managing books, archives and documents greatly .The intelligent system of the electric serried shelves consists of the touch screen, the main circuit board, some control circuit boards fixed on every row of the shelves , the sensors and the actuating mechanism, etc.It has the functions to control movement of the shelves and to protect users and provides friendly graphical user interfaces.The sensors and actuating mechanism are key parts in the system. The system adopts photoelectric sensor , Hall sensor , and safety contact rail sensor as location detector or safety conditions detector in passages .Their outputs are digital logical signals. The system selects power relays , single-phase asynchronism electromotor with decelerator as actuating mechanism to supply power for the serried shelves.P89C669 micro-controller is the core of the control circuit board which is composed of the circuit to obtain and dispose the signals from sensors, the circuit to dispose signal from press keys, RS-485 communication circuit, manual control circuit, scram control circuit and the circuit to control motor. It is employed mostly to convey the signanls from sensors and press keys to main board and accepts the instructions from main board to make this shelf which control board is installed on moves or stops.P89C669 microcontroller is also the core of the main circuit board which is composed of serials expanded ciruit, RS-485 communication circuit, operator modes control circuit. Main board is employed to control communication and coordinate the movement of the whole serried shelves. Main board communicates with all control units through RS-485 communication bus, and they compose a total distributed control system.The touch screen offeres friendly human-machine interface, communicating with main board through RS-232 serial communication bus. Self-defining communication format without protocol is applied in communication. Main board accepts actually the instructions and datum from the touch screen and feedbacks relevant information to the touch screen.Multiple infrared photoelectricity protection and safety contact rail protection are adopted to avoid to hurt handlers, in addition , the system has self-checking function to faulty which ensure user to be safe .
