This dissertation researches broad band array signal sampling methods. The gap of classical low sampling rate methods is discussed. High speed sampling methods are proposed for broad band array signal sampling. Multi-rate signal processing technology is derived from to analyze the down sampling for High speed sampling system.From theory analysis and computer simulation aspects, this dissertation gives the research of various sampling methods. The computer simulation includes Matlab simulation and VisualDSP++ software simulation. The simulation results confirm the theory analysis conclusions well.The main innovative work and research results in this paper are as follows:1. The theory, the characteristic and the limit for applying in broadband signal sampling of three classical narrow band signal smpling methods are analyzed detailly, which are analog quadrature sampling, delay smpling and bandpass sampling. The analysis is verified by software simulation. The results of analysis and simulation show that the classical sampling metods applying broad band signal sampling will bring farely error, big quantity noise and high require for front-end anti-aliasing filter.2. The down sampling is implemented for broad band signal sampling with high speed. The optimizing design for high-speed-down sampling system is illustrated. The calculation of digital processing and output date rata for high-speed-down sampling system is reduced. The quantizing signal-to -noise ratio is improved. The details are as follows:(1) The poly phase high efficiency structure which is consists of poly phase filter structure and decimate is applied in the broad band signal high-speed-down sampling system. The poly phase high efficiency structure reduces the output data rate and the calculation of the digital processing for this system.(2) The detail structures of three high-speed-down sampling systems, which are high-speed-direct-down sampling, high-speed-quadrature-demodulate-down sampling and high-speed-mixing-down sampling, are designed individually. The optimizing design of filters, the calculation of system and the output data rate are analyzed detailed.(3) For the certain frequency segment, the analysis and computer simulation of the three high-speed-down sampling systems are made. The concrete work is that the Matlab simulation is made for various combining schemes of different sampling rates and decimating factors, suitable filters are designed, the calculation and output date rate for various combining schemes are compared and analyzed. The combining schemes which have small calculation and slow output rate are got. The quantizing signal-to-noise ratio for the high-speed-down sampling system is analyzed and the conclusion that high-speed-down sampling system can improve the quantizing signal-to-noise ratio is proposed.3.
