In some of the western developed countries, media industry has already been one of the most important industries in national economy systems. Media industrialization is the necessary requirement and conclusion of marketing economic development. Under the background of reform and opening and development of socialistic market economy, the media groups with competitive strength appeared in China. This is the important sign in the media marketing and industrialization development, which also forces the media industry into the unheard of competition and reorganization. However, compared with the international media groups, the current competition of media industry in China have not yet been formed the strong core competitive power. The core competence theory of the enterprise thinks the core competence of the enterprise is the sources of the advantage and main profit that an enterprise competes sustain. Therefore, it is necessary that from the theory, to discuss the core competitiveness of media in China, which can correctly guide the media competition, specify the media competition system and facilitate the sustainable development of the media economy in China.Base on this, this article attempts to analyze what is the media core competitive power, and how constructed the core competitive power to launch the elaboration. In my opinion, the core competitive power is one kind of resources optimization conformity ability. The channel of using capital and the channel of carrying on dissemination are all important. This relate directly to media enterprise manages goal realization, the outset beginnings and ends all need the unimpeded channel. When enterprise can achieve one kind of harmonious circulation, the core competitive power was produced. Therefore the article proposed emphatically the channel construction, and the channels including the financing channel and the publishing channel.
