This thesis, based on a study on the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) of a corporation in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, expounds the necessity of constructing the HRMS on the basis of the IT technology to fully tap human resources and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in intense market competition. The thesis covers the following parts:Firstly, it presents some concepts concerning the HRMS, the status quo of domestic and foreign HRMS and its developmental trend, which gives rise to the discussion of the significance of HRMS development.Secondly, the thesis describes the developmental history and characteristics of the Management Information System (MIS), its important effect on modern business management, and the developing approaches and developing processes. Proceeding from a demand analysis of the whole system, the thesis designs the system by generalizing on and extracting data from the massive management procedures and elaborates the function frame model of the HRMS, its architecture and development environment.Next, the thesis unfolds with the basic structure of the Database System (DBS), the data model, the design principle of the database, the interface technique adopted by DBS, the analytic and constructive process of the database and data table, In addition, it provides the data table of some function modules. The thesis concludes by supplying the interface of some modules in the system, among which the focus is on code implementation process of system login, organization management and permission management accompanied with explanation on how to improve the system.Adopting DELPHI as the development environment, this system provides a more user-friendly interface and a more convenient operational procedure so that, by lessening the demand on its user, it is capable ofreplacing the traditional management pattern in a short time, raising work efficiency and benefit. The system adopts a double-tire Client/Server architecture and the SQL Server as the background database. DELPHI and SQL Server are a classic combination; they have very good compatibility. DELPHI'S powerful ADO interface, offering a rapid data processing capacity and better satisfying the requirement of parallel data, provides the system a safer and more stable data preservation and management function.
