Based On The Pdm Capp Integration Technology Research And Application

With the research and application of advanced manufacturing technology, Product Data Management and Computer Aided Process Planning system have become important parts of machining automation and enterprise information in manufacturing industry. In order to solve information isolation problem of traditional CAPP system, make full use of the powerful function of PDM, realize process planning control and the parallel project, it is necessary for CAPP to integrate with PDM.Firstly, paper concluded that integration is the tendency of CAPP and PDM by summarizing the present research and development of CAPP and PDM technology. Then we study the PDM based CAPP integration technology. On the basis of studying the architecture of PDM and the its support to CAPP as well as the structure, characteristic, information flow of PDM based CAPP, we bring out a kind of information hinge based PDM/CAPP integration model. As follows, we introduce the construction, the key technology used and overall solution of this model. Finally, in accordance with information hinge based PDM/CAPP integration model, we made analysis and the design for parts related to integration of a manufacture enterprise CAPP system and then we proposed the implementation plan of integration of the enterprise's CAPP system and the PDM system.
