Based On The The Aloaf Component Library System Data Modeling And System Design

With the development of software engineering, in order to realize software resue, improve software production efficiencies and qualities and reduce software cost, the component which realizes production of the software is the only feasible way at present. In this kind of mode, the component of the software is the core and foundation. If we want to make successful software reuse, there must be a rational and high-efficient asset library system which offers powerful support to the development of software.The existing asset libraries on the network now are all single ones, each asset library may use different data model because of the field difference (storehouse model is heterogeneous), and each storehouse may be distributed in the different environment of constructing (the platform is constructed differently). This involves how to set up the asset library system on network, make users able to carry on distributed management to the heterogeneous different asset libraries that constructs unifying transparently.This paper put forward public meta-model based on meta-model of ALOAF,and a public data module is introduced as an attachment. The heterogeneous information of all kinds of components is encapsulated to the public data model, so the components of each asset library aredescribed with the public data model, so it is possible that one unified service interface can be offered for library tools of the upper level, thus it can transparently realize the management for the heterogeneous component . In addition, CORBA distributed technical specification is introduced to the system, and the system is designed with JBUILDER & VISIBROKER which known as one of the CORBA's products, so the characteristic of working on the different platforms and distribute management of the asset libraries are effectively realized.
