With the development of compute technology, especially of network technology, the scale of simulation system has become larger and larger, which has caused the higher demands with interoperation, reusability and extensibility, specially with performance and efficiency of a simulation system. However the conventional DIS is not able to meet the demands. High level architecture (HLA), which provides a general technical infrastructure and an open standard for the modeling and the distributed simulation, reprensents the newest development direction of the distributed simulation. But as a new simulation infrastructure protocol, HLA only prescribes an infrastructure and the technology demand of distributed simulation, but it does not prescribe the implement of system, especially of distributed simulation system. With the scale of simulation system becoming larger and larger now, the architecture of centralized RTI-server has not been able to meet the demand of large-scale and complex simulation system. In order to support the large-scale distributed simulation application in the military domain, studying the realization technology and approach of the distributed simulation becomes a focus in distributed simulation study.The primary work of this thesis is trying to resolve the problem of performance and efficiency in large-scale distributed simulation system with CORBA technology according to the demand in military application. Firstly, After analysing the feasibility of the combination of CORBA and HLA, we go farther with the implement of a distributed RTI-server based on CORBA, and decide deploying archtecture of the distributed RTI-server. Secondly, We design a kind of two-lay-data-filtering structure model based on the server and scheme of composite region assembling in the distributed environment, which has accelerated the speed of the dynamic region assembling, and has implemented the filtering of information in coarseness and extract way to reduce the information's flowing and computing in the network; Then we research the muti-server DDM arithmetic and the data management technology in distributed environment; Lastly, we implemente the distributed supporting simulation system based on CORBA, which supports a certain scale of simulation applications.
