Comments revived in 1990's after it's emergence at the early time of the last century.These years ,comments appear in more and more Chinese city newspapers.Many journalism researchers pay attention to comments.But these research work isn't sufficient.The author tries to have an overall research about the opinion pages of city newspapers, though it's very difficult.This article consists of five chapters.Chapter One discuss the definition,the features of the city newspapers,so as to make preparations for the research of the opinion pages of city newspapers.Chapter Two focus on comments' origin and features.Chapter Three make a detailed discussion about the opinion pages of city newspapers.Based on the former sections, the author want to draw some rales,stardards from the opinion pages of city newspapers, so as to give some advice to other Chinese newspapers.In the last chapter ,the author look forward to the trends of the opinion pages of city newspapers.
